At The Alamo
There’s something truly special about witnessing two people who not only love each other, but genuinely enjoy the life they’ve built together.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, I found myself watching them more than once. There was tenderness, smiles, and that quiet kind of connection between two people who understand each other without having to say much. Sometimes, all it took was watching them follow one of their little ones’ antics with their eyes or share a smile to understand that something much bigger than a celebration was happening there.
I like to think that love looks like this, too: in the family we build, in the little things we share, and in the way we find meaning in walking through life together.
This season, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph several stories at The Tea Shed, and each visit has been creatively inspiring. Some places do more than welcome you warmly; they invite you to see things differently. And for those of us who spend our lives behind a camera, that’s always a gift.
I feel fortunate to be there, to observe, and to preserve a small piece of days like this. Because in the end, beyond the photographs themselves, what matters to me is capturing something of who these people are and what it means for them to be together.
Thank you for allowing me to tell a little piece of your story.
